Synopsis
King Leontes is blessed with a beautiful queen, a son, and a baby daughter-to-be, but he loses them all when his heart is poisoned by jealousy. During the spiritual winter that follows, faithful friends and a divine oracle lead him back to sanity and a miraculous reunion with those he lost.
The Winter’s Tale is performed by STC School of the Arts Young Professionals Conservatory students. The Young Professionals Conservatory is a ten-month program for students ages 12 to 18 that prepares students for careers in theatre through master classes and performance opportunities with professional actors, directors, and designers.
