Inventive, energetic, hysterical, and colorful, this is the latest and by far the freshest retelling of this ancient story. Here, the grandiose Emperor has the wool pulled over his eyes (just an expression) by Young Roland and his conniving father who, armed with razor-sharp comic timing, trick the Emperor and save the town from poverty. A play for the young and the young at heart!
