Synopsis
STC’s Cabaret Series consists of three professionally-produced Cabarets each year, in which the Main Stage Lobby is transformed into a wonderful performance venue, with seating for up to 100 guests at cocktail tables. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing. Beer and wine is available, as are light appetizers of fruit, cheese, and desserts
Sign interpreted performance is November 11.
Known for his incredible talent as a composer, a conductor, and a pianist, Leonard Bernstein is responsible for such musicals as West Side Story, Wonderful Town, Candide, On the Town, and more. You’ll leave this cabaret understanding why he is one of America’s most acclaimed musicians.
The cast of Something’s Coming features Jerry Lee (The Fantasticks, It’s a Wonderful Life, Closer Than Ever), STC newcomer Melissa Rivera, Andrea St. Clair (…Forum, Closer Than Ever, Ruthless!), Sacramento favorite Omari Tau, and STC Young Professionals Conservatory student Riley Edwards. As is tradition, Executive Producing Director Michael Laun makes a cameo or two. Samuel Clein (piano) and Dr. Beverly Wesner-Hoehn (harp) accompany the soloists.
