Synopsis
Production extended by popular demand!
Award-winning playwright Rick Foster, author of the critically-acclaimed Vivien (2007), returns to STC with his newest work. This world premiere play about one of the greatest stage and screen legends of our time is the opening production in STC’s intimate Pollock Stage as part of this year’s Season of Legends, Epics, and Icons.
Taking place on New Year’s Eve 1999, Katharine Hepburn reflects on her life and her loves as she ponders, at age 92, what the future holds. Filled with fond memories, while also delving into uncharted emotional waters, audiences will experience a side of Hepburn they, perhaps, have never seen.
