The Young Professionals Conservatory (YPC) is a rigorous, 10-month training program for students ages 12 through 18 who are interested in pursuing careers in professional theatre. YPC includes weekly master classes with renowned theatre artists, a season of three shows, and the opportunity to audition for age-appropriate roles in STC Mainstage productions.
YPC performance opportunities can include:
Three shows performed on our Pollock Stage
Age-appropriate roles in Mainstage productions
Various regional performances, open mic nights and national touring throughout the year.
Ambassadors singing and dancing group performs at high-profile events throughout the region; past performances include the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Perspectives and Cap-to-Cap Washington D.C. events and Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson’s inauguration
Admission to the Young Professionals Conservatory and the Musical Theatre Program is by audition only, with auditions held in the Spring for the following season, which begins in August.

The Ambassadors Singing and Dancing Troupe is a 10-month program for students ages 12-18, which focuses on training for a career in musical theatre. The training includes singing, dancing, acting, and musical theatre performance studies. Students will have their own musical performance on the STC Mainstage.
